After taking numerous Advanced Motorcycle courses I became so much more aware of the importance of having these skills and wanted to keep my levels as high as I possibly could not just for me but for my family, as in life I believe we are always learning and there is always room for more.
I am a great believer in sharing knowledge and understanding, this is why I love tutoring and helping people achieve their goals to become safer and more confident on our busy roads and at the same time making sure my associates are taking there new advanced skills in at there own pace which I feel is very important and valuable, as we all want the best end result.

For me, tutoring is very rewarding, helping an everyday Rider become safer and more proficient, then gaining their RoSPA Advanced Rider qualification.
I really enjoy touring, particularly by motorbike with Pauline, my wife. I’m fascinated by the sheer variety of ‘places and faces’ around the world and the beauty of our planet. I’m also intrigued by the vast variety of products we as a nation still produce, and the ingenuity with which they are made, but I suppose that follows on from being an Engineer. I love learning and always aim for something new each day.
Sailing and things to do with the water are our other main interests. A good pint is never very far from reach, with East Anglian beer as some of my favourite, Trawler Boys being the best in the whole of Christendom.
Tastes in music are to say the least, eclectic. From Vivaldi to the Clash, and all stops in between

When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy touring Europe, taking in a motogp along the way, as well as touring the UK, Scotland being one of my favourite places.
It's very rewarding being a tutor and passing on what I've learnt over many years of advanced training myself.

My name is Aldo. I have been a member of RoSPA since 2014. My previous training
included, two days with Superbike School at Silverstone and one day off-road with
Black Desert. My official RoSPA training was with two serving Police Riders based
in Cardiff over a four-day period of intense road (practical) and theory training,
culminating in being tested and achieving Silver first time around, then from 2017 on
to the present day, Gold.
I was asked if I would like to become a Tutor for NWRoAR and provide help to others
with their RoSPA Advanced Rider training – we all can learn something new and
hopefully become safer Riders.
Previous trips include Scotland, Ireland, Pyrenees, Picos de Europa and mainland
Spain.

i've been riding on the road for 15 years now, covering between 15 and 20k a year on 2 wheels. For me bikes aren't just a hobby they're my transport. Alongside Rospa I'm an observer for North Wales Police bikesafe, ride for Blood Bikes Wales and I run Bikerdown for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service. When not riding a bike for Observing I love touring and distance riding. If I'm not on the bike you'll find me in the garage messing with bikes.
I currently ride a ZZR1400, Enfield Himalayan and a Fazer 1000.

A few years after graduation I bought a used R100 RS with black panniers, used to carry medical kit when I worked in community Paediatrics. Sadly it was sold but the money was used to fund an oil boiler to keep my new baby daughter warm.
After more years I started riding again and had a Transalp, a VFR 750, KTM 950, a BMW 1200 RT and a S1000 XR. The next bike, a Ducati 950 Multistrada, was taken on a bike safe day which lead to advanced training with RoSPA
